Return Policy

 

If you are not satisfied with your purchase (for reason other than receiving a damaged piece - see below) you will have thirty (30) days after receipt of the artwork to inform us of your intention to return the item. The artwork must be in its original condition to receive a refund. Please follow these steps:

 

1. Inform us within 30 days of receipt using the “Contact Us’ form on the website.

 

2. Return the artwork within 10 days of our acknowledgment of your notification of your intention to return the work.

 

3. Artwork must be returned using the original packaging method and materials.*

Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the purchaser.

 

4. Ship package to G. H. Karlsen, 357 Winona Ave., Ottawa ON, Canada. K1Z 5H6.  We recommend using a trackable shipping service and purchasing shipping insurance.

 

 We will refund the purchase price within 7 days of our receipt of the artwork in its original condition.  Shipping costs associated with the original shipment to the purchaser cannot be refunded.

 

*If you have already disposed of the original packaging material, it will be your responsibility to purchase packaging materials to send back the artwork in a safe and secure manner.

 

Please note we cannot provide a refund if the above steps are not followed and/or if the work is returned in a damaged condition.

 

If the artwork arrives damaged:

 

Within seven (7) days of the delivery date use the “Contact Us” form on the website to let us know.

 

Save the original packaging.

 

Take photos of the damaged artwork and packaging.  Email photos to info@ghkarlsenart.com

 

We will contact you to discuss the next steps in the process for a replacement or refund.
